5 ago 2005 ano - Congress passes the Central American Free Trade Agreement.

Descrição:

Bush signs an agreement with six trading partners called the Central America Free Trade Agreement. This agreement is estimated to enhance the U.S agricultural exports by 1.5 billion dollars
The six trading partners were:
Costa Rica
The Dominican Republic
El Salvador
Guatemala
Honduras
Nicaragua
All of the presidents of the six countries were there at the ceremony.
The importance of this event is that
The CAFTA-DR is now the 18th largest trade partner with the U.S. It supported 134000 jobs in 2014, and in 2018 it had 57.4 billion dollars in a good trade. If this trade agreement was never made the U.S agricultural exports rates would have been down.
