1 jan 1813 ano - 1813 - Tecumseh had led a movement among Native Americans to take back power in the Ohio River Valley. Following a defeat at Tippecanoe two years prior, Tecumseh was killed at the battle of the Thames in 1813, ending the Native American revolt agaisnt US power in the region. The United States rapidly developed the Ohio River Valley, turning it into a bastion of the new industrial economy.
