Persian mathematician, Al-Khwarizmi, having already written a book explaining the use of Indian numerals, writes on the Hindu numerals and the decimal system. His book Al-jabr, which later is transliterated as Algebra, was based on several influences, and was significant in the development of Algebra. It introduces systematic algebraic techniques for solving linear and quadratic equations
