Marxist party split in November of 1903. The party gathered in a flour warehouse, and there were always fights so it was clear the party has got to split. The Mensheviks were the minorities and the Bolsheviks were the majority. Lenin was the leader of the Bolsheviks and he had no time for democracy, and he tried to throw 3 people off his board which led to the party being disbanded. The split is very significant to the Russian Revolution because the parties were a huge contributor of the Revolution and with the parties split up it created a lot of conflict between them.
