Mercury is the closest planet to our Sun which since it is very close to it, it has no moons. This is a terrestrial planet and its period of rotation is 58 days, 15 hours, and 30 minutes. The period of revolution is 88 days. Mercury does not have weather that consists of storms, clouds, winds, or rain but the surface temperature can reach up to 801° Fahrenheit due to it being close to the sun and –279° Fahrenheit at night. The distance from the Sun in AU is 0.39 AU.
