16 h 36 m, 28 out 1929 ano - Germany's Ultra-nationalism

Descrição:

After WWI and the signing of the Treaty of Versailles, Germany had to pay large amounts of war reparations to the Allies due to the treaty. This greatly crippled the nation, causing poverty and internal political instability and violence. Many citizens turned to radical ideals, like communism and socialism, so much so that on April 6, 1919, during the German Revolution, the state of Bavaria had established themselves as an independent, socialist state from Germany, known as the Bavarian Soviet Republic. This unrecognised nation was born through the political unrest and riots that are taking place within the broken Germany, and a politician named Kurt Eisner led a socialist revolution and overthrew the Bavarian monarch, and declared the state independent from Germany. He established this nation in order to protect property rights due to the economic turmoil in the Weimar Republic, but this nation collapsed on May 3, 1919 after the German army entered Munich and defeated the socialists. The president of the Bavarian Socialist Republic, Eugen Levine, was shot by a firing squad and Bavaria remained a part of Germany. This level of political unrest within the country would continue until Hitler's dominance over the German people.
