17 jul 2002 ano - NYPD Institutes "Stop and Frisk" policing tactic.
Descrição:
Numbers gathered by the New York Civil Liberties Union show that of the 5 million “stop and frisk” street interrogations that the NYPD has performed since 2002, 58% of them were black, while 11% were white. Only 12% of interrogations resulted in charges of crimes. African Americans feel unfairly targeted and bullied by law enforcement in the country's largest city.[6]
