In the spring of 1966 he obtained the highest marks in the Isleworth Polytechnic art exam, a score that allowed him to enter the Ealing School of Art in London; where he studied art and graphic design, when he settled in the Kensington neighborhood in an apartment, rented by a friend, near the Kensington market. Parallel to his studies, Freddie created a clothing line and wrote some short articles for London newspapers .
