Because of the increase of technology throughout the years, I am able to be updated with all the events that occur when I am not there. On this day, I was sent a photo of my cousin from my aunt, seeing my cousins growing up allows me to be close with them even though they are so far away. The widespread of Facebook allows for friends and family to connect without the barriers of being so far away.
