This court case was about funding in private schools. Essentially, a statute was passed that increasing the funding towards private religious schools in Pennsylvania. It was argued that this was a violation to the first amendment, freedom of religion. Also that the state government was too tied into the church and was unconstitutional to fund it so heavily.
