-Later spread to Middle East and Europe
-Last occurrence was in 750 AD
• Great Pestilence (1330s)
- This plague was triggered in Europe with 1/3 total of the population dead, but spread worldwide. It effected the population through a social framework of economics, politics, medicine, and education. The deaths lasted 3-4 days.
-Disease dormant in rodents which infected sailing ships
• Global Pandemic (1800s)
-There was high quantities of deaths in South-East Asia
-Buboes
