Last Monday my dad hopped on a 14-hour plane trip across the world to South Korea for an annual partner conference. My dad works for the North American partner of a security company started and based out of Korea. The International company is titled Suprema and my father works for Bioconnect which is based out of Toronto. When we talked about the economic impacts of globalization in class I realized that since my father is the only source of income for my family my whole life has been financially made possible by globalization. Globalization allowed Suprema to established partners in the Western World and is an example of economic globalization.
