1325 CE - 1355 CE Ibn Battuta was a Muslim scholar who traveled to most Muslim regions and the medieval world itself. He compiled his travels into A Gift to Those Who Contemplate the Wonders of Cities and the Marvels of Travelling. He helped develop and spread the Islamic faith by establishing mosques in the lands he visited along with his writings. (3.1)
