A Chilly Peace infests the Grass
The Sun respectful lies -
Not any Trance of industry
These shadows scrutinize -

Whose Allies go no more astray
For service or for Glee -
But all mankind deliver here
From whatsoever Sea -

This somewhat enigmatic poem seems to address death, the great unifier of "all mankind." Obviously there is no "industry" among those mysterious "shadows"; this continues Dickinson's theme of contrasting the industry of mortality with the peaceful rest of death.
