11 abr 1968 ano - Civil Rights Act of 1968
Descrição:
It was known as the Fair Housing Act because it outlawed discrimination for the sale, rental and financing of housing based on race, religion, nationality or sex. It was signed by Lyndon B. Johnson in DC. A cause was that many families of people who had loved ones in Vietnam had trouble paying for housing because of their color. But even with this act, segregation still decreased in the following years. Whites moved out of cities into the suburbs and ghettos developed.
