All blacks denied to ride the buses in Montgomery Alabama due to Rosa Parks arrest on the date Dec. 1 1955. She was arrested for not moving to the back of the bus she was in to make room for a white man that wanted to sit in the front. She sparked the Montgomery bus boycott.
