7 h 30 m, 29 out 1929 ano - Japan's Ultra-nationalism

Descrição:

When the Great Depression hit Japan, it affected it's economy greatly. Japan was allied to many nations like the U.K. and the U.S., and has since became trading partners with these countries, making Japan very dependent on trade. Resources began to be scarce and the economy was in free fall, which angered nationalists and extreme militarists. These individuals thought that their nation was small compared to the more dominant nations, and believed that Japan could become more superior. Many more ultra-nationalists and militarists had growing demands of territorial expansion. This led to Japan invading Manchuria, which caused the Second Sino-Japanese War.
