1 jan 1536 ano - Calvinism (1536)
Descrição:
Calvinism, as a branch of Protestantism, spread like wildfire over all of Europe, with Calvinists in Germany, Huguenots in France, Puritans in England, and more. His doctrine was more systematic (and some might say secular) than Lutheranism, such as his ideas on the Lord’s Supper being a symbol rather than having God’s presence actually in the bread and wine. Overall, Calvinism had more immediate of an impact on Europe than Lutheranism, even though Calvin was inspired by Luther’s works. (Palmer 85-86)
