The English bill of rights was important to European history because of the change it brought to the government in England. The English bill of rights created separation in power and limited the power of the king and queen or monarchs. The English bill of rights also enhanced the democratic election and gave freedom of speech to citizens. All of these things were part of the “reformation” in England, many countries just reformed their religion but England reformed their government along with their religion. The ideas were important to England's history and also America's history.
