What started the revolution was the political conflict, conflicts between the monarchy and nobility over the "reform" of the tax system and it lead to paralysis and bankruptcy.
one of the events that happened in this revolution is the storming of the bastille.on july 14th (1789) the prison (bastille) was stormed by an anger mob, the mob didn't actually come for the prisoners but for the power that the monarchy has by having the prisoners there and the compartments that held ammunition storages.
THe last main event in the revolution is the Execution of Robespierre on July 27th 1794.Maximilien François Marie Isidore de Robespierre was a lawyer, politician and one of the most influential people in the Revolution. He was against the death penalty but he played a role in the execution of King Louis XVI. Robespierre was a big figure in the Revolution but he was like a dictator and a tyrant. The French people didn’t like him so the ordered his arrest. He was arrested alongside his brother, St-Just, François Hanriot, and Le Bas. They were trialed and sent to the guillotine the very next day.
