in 1700 the Seneca and Onondaga visit Montreal to open a dialogue. Again in 1700 the French first nations allies joined (Miami, wendat, Odawa, Algonquin). by time 1701 rolls around all 39 nations exchanged wampum and gifts. this was important because it spiritually unified all nations of canada from the respective of the first nations and was meant to improve relations from the group.
