A political philosophy that originated in the revolutionary movements of the mid-to-late 18th century- Socialism is a very LEFT WING ideology as it promotes the idea that the economic and social aspects of the country should be run by the community as a whole. Socialism came to be the ideology that was known for being in direct opposition of capitalism following the work of KARL MARX and Friedrich Engels.
