Louis-Victor de Broglie was born
at Dieppe on 15th August 1892, the son
of Victor, Duc de Broglie and Pauline
d'Armaille. He gained his science degree
in 1913. In 1927 his theory was congirmed by
discovery of electron diffraction by crystals.
