1 jan 580 ano antes da era comum - The life of the Buddha
Descrição:
Siddhartha was at first, a spoiled Indian prince who grew up in a life of luxury, since his father protected him from any discomfort. Because of this, he began to question the meaning of life and was determined to find wisdom. To search for answers and what he was determined to find, he went under the "Tree of Wisdom" and freed his mind and clarified his thinking through meditation, gaining enlightment. Ever since this happened, he spent the rest of his life traveling and teaching his ideas, as it then turned into a religion, having people call him Buddha (Enlightened one). Part of his teachings was the Eightfold Path and the 4 Noble Truths, each having to do with tranquility.
Resources: Notes
I think that this event affects others, because it spreads the idea of tranquility, and helps people want to help others. For example, Ashoka was one of the followers of Buddha, and he saved many people's lives by setting up public hospitals, roads, and public houses.
