1 jun 1917 ano - Cottingley Fairies
Descrição:
Two young girls claimed they played with fairies, but no one believed them. They took photos as evidence, and one of the girls' mothers shared the images with friends. The pictures spread, were declared to be authentic and were published in magazines. The hoax persisted for sixty years until one of the girls confessed that the fairies were simply drawings stuck in the ground with hatpins.
