10 nov 1917 ano - The End of the Battle
After the village of Passchendaele had 15,600
casualties. These people weren't even soldiers.
The amount of soldiers that died were 569,000
which is a huge amount for a battle that did not
last very long. The British did win but it wasn't worth the amount lives that were lost for
capturing the ports. This is known as one of the
worst honors to have in World War 1. This war is
a symbol of the senseless slaughter in World
War 1.
