The intolerable acts was a series of laws that was passed by Parliament on March 24, 1774. The law series of laws meant that the colonists that took action in the Boston Tea Party were brutally punished. The 5 series of laws were put on the colonists because they could not "tolerate" the unfair taxes put on them.
