A defensive military alliance established in 1910 to defend against further French interference in Brazil following their annexation of part of the Franco-Brazilian demilitarized zone. The Treaty of Friendship between Brazil and the United Kingdom established this alliance along with a few other disputes and agreements between the two nations.

1. All Brazilian claims to British Guyana would end; additionally, Brazil would cede minor border regions to said colony and support the United Kingdom's side of disputes in South America.

2. The United Kingdom would support Brazil in colonial disputes related to their African holdings.

3. Brazil and Capeland would hold Walvis Bay under a condominium.

4. The British would lease Ascension Island to Brazil for a period of 50 years, with the option of renewal in 1960.
