Men disguised as Native American threw 342 chest of tea into the Boston Harbor. They loaded 3 ships with boxes of tea and they colonist threw the tea out into the harbor to show Britain that they didn't want to be taxed on Tea anymore. Tea was a primary food source within the colonist.
