Descrição:

The stamp act was printed documents that issued only on special stamped paper purchased from stamped distributors. For example wills, newspapers, marriage licenses, calendars,deck of cards, and more required the stamp act. The stamp act had to be paid in valid British currency and it required the stamp paper which would carry a revenue stamp.
