The Puritans left England to come to America. They had a strict and strong belief in their religion. The Puritans wanted to reform the current church in England.
They didn’t like the Roman Catholic church, and they wanted to change the religion.
America had religious freedom.
They settled in the Massachusetts Bay and were lead by John Endecott.
