Aristotle incorporated the geocentric theory into his system. Heraclides and Aristarchus both argued a heliocentric theory, which stated that the sun was in fact the centre of the solar system, and that the planets, including Earth, revolve around the sun. Their ideas failed to replace Eudoxus' geocentric theory.
