The board saw come to fruition, the first ever Research Institute as a pre-conference institute before the WRC in Anaheim CA. The inaugural institute attracted 28 participants and garnered positive reviews, enough so that the institute was requested to be repeated at the 2015 WRC. The advisory board also made sure to plug the funds available for research grants at the research institute in hopes of receiving applications for the following year.
