Marie Antoinette was the Queen of France during the first half of the French Revolution. A large population of the French people disliked her, as they said she had sympathy for enemies of France, and was wasteful with money and food. She created a lot more French debt, when France was already in lots of debt. This put a strain on the people, and caused them to starve, and earn low pay.
