Under his rule, Sweden alone(with French donations) Defeated Poland and took over more than half of the HRE. When he died though, no one was in his place to rule. Overall, Sweden won this part of the war, But the bloodiest and the most brutal part is yet to come. Russia also joins the Protestants side and takes land from Poland- Lithuania, who joined the war again after Sweden defeated them, however Sweden was too weak to take them over again.
