Mars shows up at Camp Jupiter and issues a quest explaining that if Frank, Percy, and Hazel don't find and free Thanatos (guards Doors of Death) in Alaska before the night of Feast of Fortuna (June 24), Camp Jupiter will have to face Polybotes (giant born to destroy Neptune) and his army of monsters that cannot be killed. Before they go, Reyna tells Percy to find her sister and the legion's eagle during the quest if possible.
