During the 90's many low calorie, and low fat foods began to take over Americans diets
products such as blueberries which where labeled as Americas first super food due to the level of antioxidants it carries. The rise of super foods also brought products such as slim fast into use which where labeled as meal replacement that did not carry nearly enough nutrients actually needed causing them to be more harmful then good.
