I was the first child born to my mother, Carolin, and my father, Sandy. Both of my parents were big advocates for reading and since I was very little, I had a fully stocked bookshelf. My mom, especially has always been a huge reader. She loves mystery books and has read every Nora Roberts and J. D. Robb novel that has been published. My mom is a very busy woman with three jobs, but always finds time to read. To this day, she is known for reading while cooking dinner, blow-drying her hair and going to the bathroom! She models the importance of making time to read.
