The Napoleonic Wars was a series of conflicts between Napoleonic France and the majority of the other European powers that took place between 1803-1815. During this time, Napoleon sought to gain complete control of Europe and eventually the world through his forceful military power. Napoleon's plan ultimately failed when he decided to invade Russia, and lost a majority of his army due to the harsh weather. Although Napoleon's plans were not successful they did lead to the fall of the Spanish Empire, rise of the Roman Empire, and a new form of radical warfare.
