In the winter of 2013, the LBGT Student Advisory Council met with a group of WMU leaders including the Provost, AP of Enrollment Management, AP of Institutional Research, AP of Institutional Effectiveness, VP of Diversity and Inclusion, and VP of Student Affairs to explore the possibility of, and advocate for, a student preferred name policy.
