Since the beginning OfficialServer1 has always been the goal for many tribes and seen as a trophy that everyone wants but only a few can get their hands on.Leading to countless failed attempts by outside tribes trying to take over Server 1 which in the pre-transfer era was almost impossible .Because invading a server back then would involve joining a server,making a new player character,starting on the beach with absolutely nothing except your two bare hands and having to farm up your way to the top while trying to stay hidden from the rest of the server population.To strike when it’s time and wipe out the alpha tribe.
Which brings us to Verra’s Vanguard in short VVG a small tribe of 5 players came on Server 1 after the first big wipe caused by a bug that allowed players to spawn dinos on single-player mode and transfer them on the official servers.Their leader Verra had a ambitious goal to turn the small barely surviving tribe into a powerhouse just through sheer numbers so he began to recruit everyone on sight. From newbies who had just bought the game to remnants of groups destroyed by two other aggressive groups: Sparta and WarboyZ with all these new players joining Verra’s Vanguard quickly became one of the bigger tribes on the server.Later on the tribes of Sparts and WarboyZ who had destroyed many tribes and caused waves of refugees being absorbed by Verra’s Vanguard would go on to wage war against VVG for the alpha tribe spot.
They would use shady tactics such as DDoS-ing the server to cause a rollback and get their lost stuff back or simply keep the server down(sometimes the server would be down for nearly a month) to prevent VVG from making any further progress.Verra’s Vanguard had already won 6 times but each time WarboyZ had DDoS-ed the server and brought it down hard enough to cause a rollback and get their lost stuff back.
But after 6 months when the smoke cleared Verra’s Vanguard was victorious and started to spread out on the server making alliances with the tribes of Echo,Sons of Batman,Two Tickets to Paradise, remnants of the DVS tribe from Server 3 and other minor tribes.While destroying those who disagreed such as the tribes of Butts2Electric,Divinity and HelloKitty.Which made Verra’s Vanguard the de facto Alpha tribe of OfficialServer1.
