Two American forces converged to attack the capital of British Canada. They had little supplies and no reinforcements. Quebec was heavily fortified, and a massive snowstorm rendered American muskets useless. British reinforcements arrived and captured half of the American troops, and pushed the rest back to Fort Ticonderoga.
