The Battle of Vimy Ridge took place on April 9, 1917. The battle took place at Vimy Ridge which is in France. The battle was fought between the British and the Germans at first, but when the British couldn't take over Vimy Ridge Canada started to fight the Germans. The Canadians plotted out a strategic plan of attacks to take over Vimy Ridge from the Germans. Two Historical themes are battles and technology
