The D - day happen in Normany, France. This invasion was the largest in history both in land and water. The invasion's code name was OPERATION OVERLORD. More than 160,000 Allied troops invaded Western Europe, this cause Germans to be overwhelmed, they couldn't fight them. I think that this was an event that affected drastically the WW2 outcome.
