12 h 11 m, 23 out 1953 ano - OCT 23, 1953 Poly carbonates Discovered, Poly carbonates, a group of clear and easily mold-able plastics, were discovered by scientists H. Schnabel (in Germany) and D. W. Fox (in the US). As Mr. Fox worked for GE, poly-carbonates began to be used in commercial products in the late 1950's.
