Nikita Khrushchev was a premier of the Soviet Union from 1958 to 1964. He wanted to pursue a policy he called "Peaceful Co-Existence. This policy was to de-Stalinize Eastern Europe by reversing what Stalin had imposed on this part of the world, but it led to anti-soviet revolutions in countries such as Poland and Hungary.
