On Tuesday, November 8, 1932, FDR won the presidential election in the United States on the backdrop of the Great Depression and promised the American people that he would strive to bring the country out of the disarray and morale dissolve they had faced in the years prior. Roosevelt sought to bring more environmental issues to the forefront and to adjust the American society to have national parks and also bringing the CCC in to the workforce and get more men working.
