Julias and Ethel Rosenberg were two people accused of giving secrets about the atomic bomb to the Soviets. They were convicted of treason and were sentenced to the death penalty on April 6 (and executed on June 15). Both refused to admit to anything and proclaimed their innocence even up to their death date.
