I'M SORRY I JUST REALLY LOVE BILLY I HAD TO INCLUDE THIS. Kontsert, the live album of his concert in Leningrad, is one of the best things of all time. Literally the only thing I listen to. I also have the documentary A Matter of Trust on DVD as well as on my phone and I watch it way more than I should. Relatively speaking, the Kremlin invited Billy to bring his American rock music to the USSR as a part of the new policy of glasnost. Rock music had previously been banned, and bringing Billy to the USSR would be the first attempt at bringing in an American pop star behind the iron curtain. His concert had a huge social impact on both the USSR and the US. The civilians of the two nations began to realize that they were not each others enemy. Furthermore, the Soviets learned how to put on rock concerts as well as how to enjoy them.

On a side note, Billy should have stayed with Christie. Just saying...
