A Daimyo named Oda Nobunaga began trading with the Europeans. He used the firearms he traded for to use in a rebellion that overthrew the last Ashikaga Shogun. He died from the betrayal of one of his vassals, and the next leader was one of them called Tokoyami Hideyoshi.
